During the Winter semester, I have formed a Ramen Reading Group at OCAD University, these events are an attempt of using food as a critical pedagogical platform. We ate ramen noodles and explored bell hooks’ models for democratic education, processes for unlearning, and the importance of communal knowledge production/mobilization.
